GENESIS Overview:
A model, high-tech, but above all people-centered healthcare facility, with a 120-bed capacity for general and special care has been built on 36 acres of land in Elaiones, Pylaia, overlooking the entirety of Thessaloniki. The Hospital covers an area of 18,000m2 (59,055ft2).
GENESIS is the first General Private Women’s Hospital in Thessaloniki.
To best support its associate physicians and patients, GENESIS houses robust medical devices and electro-mechanical equipment as well as state-of-the-art premises, while it also places a strong emphasis on hospitality, professionalism, and the overall quality of the provided services.
220 guarded parking spaces at GENESIS are available to visitors, patients, and physicians, 24/7, for free. Also, there is an OASTH route, line 14A (Neos Sidirodromikos Stathmos – Ano Toumpa meso GENESIS).

From the very beginning, GENESIS has been more than just a Maternity Hospital; it has also been a respected leader and a model facility in the healthcare sector in Northern Greece. In addition to welcoming more than 7,000 inpatients and 7,000 outpatients and performing thousands of diagnostic tests, we also deliver more than 40% of the children born in the greater area of Thessaloniki each year.
The Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology , are now supported by the Department of Plastic Surgery, the best in Greece, and the Department of General Surgery, for both women and men, in which all types of surgery, open and laparoscopic (hernias, appendectomies, cholecystectomies, etc.), are performed.
Thus, a General Hospital is able to provide comprehensive procedures and safety, supported by an Adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and ultramodern radiology and laboratory departments.
